Practical instructions for starting your beer tap installation and connecting your rinsing counter. Always follow the instructions supplied with your equipment.

Starting an ice-bank beer tap installation
These instructions describe the installation with a 90-litre water reservoir. Capacity and configuration vary by model, so check the instructions supplied with your equipment.
Check the water level
Transport or evaporation can lower the water level, preventing the installation from working properly. Check the reservoir and, if necessary, add ordinary tap water until the level is above the small copper tube.
Start at least six hours in advance
At least six hours before use, check the water level and top it up if necessary. Then plug the installation into a standard socket, using a suitable extension lead if needed. You will hear a humming sound.
Keep the installation and kegs out of the sun
Place the installation in the shade. Store spare full kegs indoors, preferably chilled. In very hot weather, the ice can melt quickly. Warm beer from a keg left in direct sunlight makes the ice reserve melt faster.

Connect the water supply
The rinsing counters have a standard Gardena connection for the water supply.
Arrange drainage for used water
Use a bucket or a suitable drain to collect or discharge the used water.
